See All ReviewsWe had been to this restaurant years ago and had a decent meal, so we were in London again and thought we would give it another try. It’s in a nice location right off a quiet intersection so you can people watch on a large patio, with sun or shade. The inside looks comfortable as well. The place could likely use a quick facelift and cleaning, but overall not a bad atmosphere. The server was friendly and efficient. The food was good, with a Mediterranean slant. The price point was reasonable as well. We would go back in the future.
This is our second trip to the Sweet Onion and it did not disappoint. The menu is versatile with many gluten free options and the food is delicious. I love the indoor fireplace. It's warm and homey. The service is excellent as well and very accommodating. The signature souvlaki dishes are the real deal 😀. A special shout out to the owner, Cleopatra. She goes the extra mile for her patrons and is welcoming and friendly. We were celebrating our anniversary and she celebrated us with shots and breaking plates. It made our night out truly special, and most memorable. We'll be back!!
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at “Sweet Onion”. The food was absolutely delicious…the dolmades were the best I’ve ever had. The service, hospitality and ambience makes you feel like you’re at someone’s home rather than a restaurant. Thank you to Cleopatra for making our visit at your restaurant a most memorable experience of our trip to London from Toronto. Looking to returning sometime in the near future.
